The Second Half on main

 

 

            The Reopening of The Second Half in Denville, once again is be everyone’s “third place”.   I realized the importance of such a place after the fire that burned down The Second Half in May of 2007.  The third place is the place to meet with family and friends for food and comfort.  It is the place that is away from our everyday stress. This will be the place where you will congregate for fun, laughs, and fine food in a comfortable atmosphere. It is not your home or your office; it is your “third place”.

 The restaurant with Liquor License has approx. 80 seats inside and 34 outside April - October. The Second Half  was given the entire place a face-lift. The first and most important place is to have the restaurant decorated correctly.  The Bar is made in Red Mahogany with a beautiful red oak finish, the bar itself is Granite .  In the bar area I also raised the ceiling to give a more wide-open and airy feel.  People say that the bar has a New York flair to it. Customers enjoy a game on the 4 HDTV`s. The dining area has been updated with lighting, new carpet, new booths, and the walls that are painted and finished with a Venetian plaster photos of the lakes and the town of Denville.  

            There is outside dinning starting April and Ending when the cold weather hits around mid October. There are 34 Seats outside to accommodate. The outside seating has a great appeal in the busy town center and was awarded best outside dining in Morris County

      The Menu and food has always been one of the pub`s many strengths. The menu is be varied from Sandwiches, Steaks, Salads, Wraps, Pasta, Burgers, and the newly added Mexican Fare.
